I had a jar of screws and bolts from dad's garage. I moved it to my new house. I felt silly for keeping it, since I was never going to use them for their intended purpose. I compromised - letting myself keep them but also giving them a new use.

His heart still beats with mine & I can still make art out of ugly things.
